Launching our Trainer Competency Framework

We’re excited to introduce our L&D Trainer Competency Framework – a key part of our ongoing commitment to professional growth and delivering training excellence across our sales teams.

This framework defines the essential competencies required across our training roles, providing a clear and structured guide to what success looks like in each area. It enables our training team to take ownership of their development by making expectations visible, measurable, and achievable.

The framework serves as a practical tool to outline the core skills, knowledge, and behaviours needed to be effective in our L&D roles – creating a shared understanding of professional standards across our team.

By clearly defining the expectations for each role, the framework supports personal development and career progression; while ensuring we continue to build the capabilities needed to effectively develop and support our sales teams.

Alongside this, we’ll also be introducing our new Trainer/Facilitator Observation Form to support consistent, high-quality delivery. This will help us ensure we are always delivering best-in-class training to our colleagues by providing structured, supportive feedback to our training team after sessions – highlighting strengths and identifying growth opportunities.
