Our Mission
To promote an ethical, responsible and sustainable ethos that encourages us to continually improve on our internal and external corporate social responsibility activities and initiatives and the awareness of what we do and how we impact our local community.
Key Focuses
- To make a positive contribution to our local community and encourage our employees in taking on social responsibilities.
- Regular involvement with charities, particularly within our local community.
- Ethical sourcing and suppliers.
- Ensure there is no modern slavery in our supply chains or in any area of SCO.
Our Objectives
Volunteering*
0.5 days a year available per employee, per year – to volunteer for a charity or local community event supporting people in need. A list will be provided of available opportunities, or the employee can provide details of an event they wish to participate in. *Launching 2025
Charity
We will continue to support local charity initiatives, getting involved in a minimum of 4 events per year e.g. local hospital Easter egg drive, toy drive, food banks etc.
Environment
- We will continue to monitor our carbon emissions and aim to reduce our footprint, this includes working with our facilities manager to support with their initiatives.
- We will reduce the use of plastic within SCO
- We will continue to be a paperless office.

Measuring Success
We will continually monitor our objectives and hold an annual review of our CSR program to ensure we are effectively making progress towards fulfilling our mission.
