This month, we brought together 32 leaders from across Step Change Outsourcing for an inspiring afternoon at The Landmark London, King’s Cross.

The event provided an opportunity for colleagues from across the business to connect, collaborate and share ideas, while reflecting on the role leadership plays in delivering great outcomes for our people, our clients and our customers.

Throughout the afternoon, leaders took part in collaborative workshop sessions and discussions, sharing perspectives and celebrating successes from across the business. A key focus of the day was our company values – Straightforward, Climbing to Your Potential and Own It – and how they continue to shape the way we work, support one another and deliver for our clients and customers.

We also introduced a range of new leadership resources that are currently being developed and will be launching across the business in the coming months. These tools will further support our leaders in creating positive experiences for their teams while continuing to drive collaboration and consistency across the organisation.

A key part of the afternoon was welcoming Bonita Norris, who delivered an inspiring keynote, The Mountaineer’s Mindset. Drawing on her experiences as the youngest British woman to reach the summit of Mount Everest, Bonita shared powerful lessons on resilience, perseverance and mindset. One message in particular resonated with every leader in the room: “Be great, make others great.” It was a fitting reminder that great leadership is about inspiring those around you to succeed as much as achieving your own goals.

The event was a fantastic opportunity to bring our leaders together, strengthen relationships across the business and celebrate the shared ambition that drives SCO forward. We look forward to building on the momentum from the day and bringing our leaders together again in the future.
