At Step Change Outsourcing, we believe that investing in our people is one of the most important things we can do. Creating opportunities for growth, development and progression not only helps individuals achieve their career ambitions, but also strengthens our business by ensuring we continue to build talent from within. So far in 2026, we’re proud to have celebrated 34 internal promotions, reflecting our ongoing commitment to creating opportunities for our people to grow.
Career development has always been a key focus at SCO. Through structured training, coaching, competency frameworks, job shadowing opportunities and leadership events, we provide clear pathways for teammates to develop new skills and take the next step in their careers. Whether someone joins us in an operational role, a support role or as part of our leadership team, we want them to understand the opportunities available to them and feel supported on their journey.
This year, we have been delighted to see several teammates progress into new roles, demonstrating the impact that hard work and continuous development can have. We are proud to celebrate the following promotions this year and hear what they have to say about their journeys.
Lewis progressed from a Sales Executive into a Team Leader role:
“After 2 years as a Telesales Executive, I progressed into a Team Leader role. Completing the Covering Team Leader course helped prepare me for this next step, and the support from fellow Team Leaders and my team made the transition into management much easier.”
Tammy progressed from a Customer Experience Executive role into a Senior Customer Executive role:
“Over 5 years, I’ve grown alongside the business, developing key skills in stakeholder and client management. This year, that progression led me to a Senior Customer Experience Executive role.”
Stefan progressed from a BDM Level 3 to BDM Level 4:
“I’m really pleased to have recently progressed to Business Development Manager Level 4. It took persistence and perseverance to reach this milestone, especially while stepping up to support the business as a Covering Team Leader. I’m excited to continue exploring new opportunities across the business, including recently taking on an Internal Recruiter position.”
